Ms Banks

Ms Banks has lots of musical influences from garage and pop to hip-hop and trap. She reckons it’s great that you don’t have to tweak your sound to fit in these days: ‘You can say what you want now and that’s dope.’

She’s from South East London and began writing songs when she was 11 years old. She honed her craft on London’s open-mic hip-hop scene and dropped her debut mixtape in 2014

Rap royalty, Nicki Minaj, is one of Ms Bank’s best friends – she even supported Nicki on tour last year. She’s also supported Cardi B on tour – making friends in all the right places

Sian Anderson

Sian Anderson will be the host of the Apprentice Nation livestream. We can’t wait to welcome her back after presenting the Manchester show in 2019.

At age 29, Sian Anderson is an ambassador for Grime music, a DJ and presenter on BBC Radio 1xtra. From a young age, Sian had a love for music, especially Grime music. She even considered being a Grime MC herself at one point to fill the gap in the market.

She much prefers to help get things moving and watch artists develop over time. This attitude is reflected in the projects she has created and worked on for young people in the last few years.
