Joe is currently a Senior Account Manager at Blakeney, a PR firm on a mission to solve the world’s most complex communications challenges.
Joe has several years of experience in politics, leading the Parliamentary offices of two Government ministers through the Brexit deadlock and the COVID-19 pandemic.
He has a good understanding of the political world – advising MPs on a range of issues, developing communications campaigns and handling complex policy issues. Joe has worked closely with businesses, local authorities and other stakeholders on areas ranging from crisis communications to social media campaigns. He has lots of experience working with the media and has produced topical content for publications including The Times.
Before moving to London, Joe worked with the British Council in Vienna. In this time, Joe not only helped young adults improve their proficiency of English but also worked on events with the Austrian Department for Education.
Originally from Newcastle, Joe is most at home when near the sea and enjoys running to keep fit.
