Damien O’Donohoe trained as a lawyer before going to work in the entertainment business. He started his new career with MCD/Live Nation. He promoted shows with some of the worlds biggest bands including Coldplay, Jay Z, Lady GaGa and U2. He then went onto to set up his own business – IKON media and entertainment. Through this vehicle he has represented talent in the music and sport space and done a number of big sponsorship deals. Damien was the co-founder of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in 2013. The CPL is the second biggest T20 cricket league and this year it will exceed 500m tv viewers globally. IKON is also an investor in esports. They started the first city based franchise league in Australia and also run the esports programme for Formula 1. IKON has a production company called Trombone which produce documentaries and short form content. Damien is also a board member of Quinta do Lago and PGA Catalunya – two of Europe’s most exclusive resorts. Damien is a graduate of Harvard Business School.
