Heather is currently Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Northern Europe at Meta. As Chief of Staff, Heather’s role is pivotal in driving the success of the business. She partners closely with the Vice President to review Meta’s corporate strategy, which is all about setting goals to grow, develop and set the direction of a company. Heather and the Vice President make important decisions together about organisational plans, processes and priorities that align with this. Heather then works closely with multiple functions across the business, leading strategic projects to ensure that any processes and priorities are reviewed and executed in line with Meta’s corporate strategy. This role also involves Heather managing the preparation of a variety of internal and external meetings and events and driving internal operations. Heather’s role involves a vast range of skills, including but not limited to leadership, analysis, project management, communication, and crucial decision-making skills.

Prior to that she worked as a management consultant for KPMG and Arcadis, specialising in business transformation. She worked on clients from a variety of sectors including tech, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas and financial services. She typically focused on using her project management and change management skills to drive business performance for her clients.

Heather’s background is in languages and she studied German at Oxford. She has also undertaken an MBA at Imperial College Business School, where she participated in the course whilst still working full-time. This was a transformational experience and has been one of her highlights of recent years, thanks to the richness of what she learnt and the people that she met.

When not at work, Heather sits on a number of boards including the Alumni Advisory Board of Imperial College Business School, as well as the board of Four Corners, a film and photography charity based in east London. She can also be found at the gym doing BodyPump, pilates and swimming.
