Nick is the Founder of FOOD - an interdisciplinary creative practice working with clients to explore how they show up in today's differentiated media spaces. Industry: Advertising | Marketing | Communications | Digital.

In 2001, Nick co-founded POKE and held the CEO position until the agency was acquired by Publicis Worldwide in 2014. He then took on the joint CEO role of POKE and Publicis Worldwide with his focus on growing digital communications and experiences for Publicis clients that included BT, EE, RENAULT, VIRGIN, HEINEKEN, NBC and L’ORÉAL. 

Always interested in where and how the web is evolving, Nick launched THE LOVIE AWARDS in 2010, a joint venture with the Webby Awards to celebrate the wonderful and inspiring things connected by the web’s many tentacles. He continues to Co-Chair the Awards. Nick is also an advisory Board member of independent film streaming service MUBI.

Nick co-founded and launched the innovative TECH CITY APPRENTICESHIP in 2013. 

Nick also helped create and lead HACKNEY HOUSE in 2014 and 2015. HACKNEY HOUSE showcased a micronism of East London’s creativity including global leaders, start-up enterprises and everything in between. Over the two years, Hackney House generated an estimated £18m of investment from a range of businesses whilst enabling the borough to forge close working relationships with SXSW and Austin, TX.

Today, Nick runs FOOD – an interdisciplinary creative practice working with clients to explore how they show up in today’s differentiated media spaces.

In 2015, he was awarded with a Lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the digital advertising and marketing industry.
