Araba is a sixth form student, raising awareness about period poverty in the UK. She’s interested in a career in digital marketing, and has taken part in Apprentice Nation Mentor Sessions and the Youth Advisors Network, to network, grow her confidence and showcase her skills.

When COVID changed Ciara’s plan for her gap year, she got involved with Apprentice Nation to explore her career options, and find the path for her. After lots of hard work, she landed a digital marketing apprenticeship at Sky, where she’s looking forward to combining her creative and analytical sides.

Joseph is an aspiring TV and film producer and scriptwriter. His experience of speaking with Apprentice Nation mentors has really helped him to understand his chosen field and build a pathway to his future career in the entertainment industry.

Devina is a creative who enjoys making YouTube videos and working with digital media. While all her friends were applying to university, Devina knew she wanted to take advantage of doing an apprenticeship. She took part in Apprentice Nation to support her applications and boost her confidence. In December 2020, she started her apprenticeship with Openreach.

Malik is a music producer with a passion for RnDrill beats. Through taking part in Apprentice Nation he’s been able to share his music, learn more about the industry and has since received two offers on Music Technology courses. He’s been able to overcome barriers with confidence and is working on getting his music out there.

Eva is a budding linguist. She’s learning Spanish, French and Twi, and is interested in a career in the media industry. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and already runs a cosmetics business as well as her own YouTube channel. Taking part in Apprentice Nation has helped her to step outside of her comfort zone, take risks and put her work out there.

Caitlin is a Sixth Form student, passionate about protecting the environment. She’s interested in a career in environmental law, and also loves filming and editing to capture and communicate important messages. She’s currently working on a short film to document the experiences of young people in her area during the COVID pandemic.

Finishing school in a global pandemic brought a lot of uncertainty, but the apprenticeship route turned out to be a great option for Millie, who is now enjoying her role as a Human Resources Apprentice with Morgan Stanley. Taking part in Apprentice Nation helped her to identify her strengths and define her career path. She continues to make the most of networking opportunities to make meaningful connections and loves to share her experiences to support others going through early-career challenges.

Hugh is a musician and producer with a passion for electronic music, specifically Drum and Bass. Taking part in Apprentice Nation has helped him to grow in confidence and stay motivated on his career path. He’s also realised the value of networking to help further his career.
